Tanner’s Pets of the Week
Giselle is a magnificent 4-year-old pit bull terrier mix who weighs 67 pounds. This friendly, affectionate, well-behaved dog appears to be kennel trained, walks well on leash, and is easy to leash up. She loves to play ball, will sit for treats, and is an all-around fun dog. Although quiet in her kennel, she is not shy and will make you laugh when she tries to sit on your lap and give you kisses. She would make a great walking companion and is a favorite among our staff and volunteers. She would do best in a home with just adults or a family with older children because of her large size. Giselle is in our Foster-to-Adopt program because she tested positive for heartworms. This means you foster her while we treat her for heartworms at no cost to you, and when her treatment is complete, you adopt her for free except for the mandatory $10 CMPD pet licensing fee. Please stop by for a visit to see if this exceptional girl is the loyal, loving life companion you have been looking for.
When it comes to relationships, I’m very level-headed. I don’t leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I’ll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me but I’ll be thinking a lot of you!
