It’s no coincidence that Carolina Country Music Fest (CCMF), in conjunction with Full House Productions (FHP) and Visit Myrtle Beach, chose today – Patriot Day – to announce that superstar Toby Keith, will be joining its star-studded lineup. CCMF 2018 crashes the shores of Myrtle Beach Jun 7-10, 2018.
Ranked Billboard’s Top Artist of the Decade, Keith has sold more than 40 million albums worldwide. Since the debut of his self-titled album in 1993, he has penned multiple No. 1 hit singles including “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” and “Courtesy of the Red White and Blue” earning him both Billboard’s No. 1 Country Artist of the Decade and No. 1 Country Songwriter of the Decade nods. Keith has also been inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and recently received the Poet’s Awards from the Academy of Country Music (ACM). His 11 USO Tours to date have been recognized with the Spirit of the USO Award (2014). On September 8, Keith released his new 12-song collection, The Bus Songs, which features the viral hit “Wacky Tobaccy.”
“Country music is synonymous with patriotism,” said Bob Durkin, President of Full House Productions. “Not only does Toby Keith host an electrifying show, his dedication to those who put country before self-mirrors that of CCMF. Combine the two and we’re hopeful to do something really special for active duty and veteran members of our military this year.”
As a pledge to its commitment to the military, CCMF recognizes and supports Disabled American Veterans (DAV) as its national non-profit partner. In addition, CCMF partners with GovX, the Fort Brag, Fort Jackson and Fort Stewart military bases, as well as Shaw Air Force Base to offer military, government and first responder personnel discounted tickets. For those that qualify, GovX three-day, general admission tickets are $169, and include the Thursday night Kickoff Concert – a $49 value. The discounted tickets are available starting today.
