Okay, this is bittersweet.
"The Americans" on FX has quietly been one of the best shows on TV for five seasons. The show is set in the early 1980s and you have what appears to be a young family, The Jennings, in suburband Washington DC.
Appears being the operative word.
You see, Philip and Elizabeth Jennings (Matthew Rhys and Keri Russell-pictured above) are actually Soviet spies who happen to live across the street from an FBI agent.
The cat-and-mouse game that's been played out has made for riveting television. And now, it's coming to an end.
March 28th sees the 6th and final season (10 episodes) airing.
